Friday July 16 will mark our one year anniversary. In celebration we’d like to extend a BIG THANK YOU to our customers by having a happy hour on Friday from 6pm to 9pm. There will be FOOD (from The Flying Biscotti Catering Co.) and ADULT BEVERAGES (sources yet to be determined). So, please stop by and see us!

Espresso a Mano is an espresso bar in the Lawrenceville neighborhood of Pittsburgh, PA. We provide high quality espresso and coffee beverages in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. "A mano" means "by hand" in Italian. In the Italian tradition, the hand is one of the four components to crafting a delicious espresso. (the others being the grind, the blend, and the machine). We put an emphasis on this component to convey the sense of artisinal craftmanship with which we prepare our espresso and coffee beverages. We also emphasize sustainability in our coffees, carrying many Fair Trade, Direct Trade, and Organic coffees from fine roasters like Counter Culture, La Prima Espresso, and Commonplace Coffee.
